Musselshell County Happenings

Musselshell County has had a busy kick off to summer. They recently hosted a Mother’s Day Paint night. A family trivia event and most recently a family bingo night. Angie’s counties are big on hosting family engagement events and receiving prevention materials as well.

In a rural community it is very important to support the youth and families in any way possible while incorporating family fun and normalizing prevention conversations for families and youth.

The youth coalition gave the prevention message and fact for the week, “Be smart, don’t start!”. They started a Tuesday News-day so youth can discuss things happening in the community as well as give prevention information and announce upcoming events and activities like sports and community. The adults are committed to involving youth, embracing NOTHING ABOUT US WITHOUT US!
