FAFSA Help

Students should be thinking about applying to the schools they are interested in attending. As part of that effort, seniors need to contact the admissions office and financial aid offices at those schools, or visit their websites, to request all required forms. It’s important to pay close attention to deadlines. In addition, students should plan to visit campuses before committing to schools in order to find a good fit.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available on Oct. 1 — it’s time to gather tax documents. In order to fill out the FAFSA, they will need the most accurate tax information available. Get one-on-one assistance completing the FAFSA at Reach Higher Montana College Goal on 11/08/17 at the Helena High Library from 5-7 PM. Visit ReachHigherMontana.org to get more information about Reach Higher Montana College Goal.

December 1 is the priority filing date for the FAFSA at most Montana institutions.
