The Child Find Screening Clinics are designed for children ages birth through 5 years. The purpose of these clinics is to identify infants, toddlers and preschool students who may have developmental delays or special needs.  Parental concerns may be in any area of their child’s development.  Parents will receive follow-up letters after the screening advising them of recommendations.

Recommendations for those children showing delays in one or more areas might include:

  1. Referral to appropriate community agencies.
  2. Suggestions for home intervention programming.
  3. Referral to Special Education Preschool for additional assessments and services.
  4. Further medical evaluations, i.e. hearing concerns or additional diagnostic testing.
  5. Referral to school district speech-language pathologist.

If you have further questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please call the Ray Bjork Learning Center at (406) 324-2900.  Thank you for your cooperation in this effort to help young children.

Sincerely,
