Communities Mobilizing Change on Alcohol

The Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol (CMCA) committee focuses on reducing underage alcohol use by changing environmental factors that promote teenage drinking.

We help parents and other adults understand their influence on youth behaviors and work to build a community that celebrates and supports the many healthy choices youth make.

We work to limit youth access to alcohol by promoting Responsible Alcohol Server Training, outlet compliance checks, alcohol free options at community events, media literacy and by advocating for laws and policies that deter underage drinking.

We work to mobilize our community to create an environment that empowers youth to resist using alcohol and other drugs.

CMCA meetings are every third Tuesday of the month from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. at Front Street Learning Center (815 Front Street).

Please contact Kris Minard at minard@mt.net if you have any questions or if you would like to get involved.
